Lead gift from McCaffery-Wagman-Wachenheim families supports health 和健康 at 电竞竞猜app

电竞竞猜app大学 is embarking on a new health, 健康, 健身, 网球, and athletics center, with the generous support of a family who has long supported the College. 

Ed and Sue Wachenheim P’85, ’88, ’01; Amy Wachenheim McCaffery ’01 and Michael McCaffery; and College Trustee Kim Wachenheim Wagman ’88, P’15, and David Wagman P’15, a multigenerational family with a legacy of strong support for 电竞竞猜app, are offering the lead gift to 推进这一重要项目. 新中心将汇集 student health 和健康 support — including mental health and counseling; health promotion and education; physical 健身; 和健康 across the mind, body, and spirit — in a holistic approach to student health within a single complex on 电竞竞猜app’s 校园.

New locker rooms and team meeting rooms will renew the College’s commitment to the student-athlete experience at 电竞竞猜app while investing in athletics facilities for 所有. The current 健身 center will be repurposed as a training facility exclusively for varsity athletics, enabling more dedicated space and programming for athletes 同时为休闲健身用户创造空间.  

Foundational support for the project was made possible by a generous gift from Susan Kettering Williamson ’59, for whom the Williamson Sports Center is named. 这份礼物 specific所有y supports the 网球 complex that will be adjacent to the proposed health 还有健康中心. 新的室外球场计划于2023年完工. 

President Conner said the entire project, which will be LEED-certified in line with 电竞竞猜app’s longstanding commitment to sustainability, could be finished as early as 2024.
